The Florida Park Service Alumni Association is a not for profit organization made up of current and retired members of the Florida State Park System. Our mission is to promote fellowship and to provide assistance to current and retired members of the Florida Park Service. Florida State Parks have a tremendous heritage. The "Old Rangers" are looked up to and respected as pioneers of the Florida State Park System. Many of these pioneers are honored members and memorial members of the association.
A primary goal of the FPSAA is to provide an avenue for fellowship of past and current employees of the Florida State Park System. This is done through periodic work days in Florida State Parks and during annual meetings.
The FPSAA also administers the James A. Cook Humanitarian Relief Fund. This fund is available to members of the Division of Recreation and Parks for monetary relief during times of misfortune.
The FPSAA is dedicated to supporting Florida State Parks.
Many man hours per year are dedicated to Florida State Parks by members of the
FPSAA. Numerous work projects have been accomplished by FPSAA members,
saving the Division thousands of dollars.
